Across Israel, Aharai!’s 595 employees, full-time veteran staff, alumni leaders, and mentors work together to guide young people toward lives of purpose and possibility. At the heart of this model are mentors who understand the challenges facing the youth they serve and offer more than encouragement; they provide hard-earned perspective, practical wisdom, and a powerful example of what is possible. This cycle of service and mentorship is what makes Aharai!’s work so deeply felt in every community it reaches.

Aharai!’s impact is further strengthened by the breadth of its government and institutional partnerships. Through close collaboration with Israel’s Ministries of Defense, Education, Welfare, and National Security, as well as the Israeli Labor Authority and the 8200 Alumni Association, Aharai! has earned the trust of leading national partners. Today, more than 65% of Aharai!’s activity costs are funded by the Ministry of Defense and Ministry of Education.
